We are all set to record our Episode 1 of the podcast series High On Impact. Let's meet our first Speaker Akshaya Chauhan, Co-founder Neev Ki Eent Foundation.

" I consider myself a software engineer who has transitioned into the development sector, though I prefer not to label myself strictly as a Development Professional. I see myself more as a traveler, dedicated to overcoming the obstacles that hinder society's progress through the power of entrepreneurship. Indeed, I am a Social Entrepreneur, and more specifically, a "Serial Social Entrepreneur." This "serial" aspect reflects my continuous drive to surpass my previous achievements each day. My ultimate goal is to own a conglomerate comprised solely of social enterprises.

In pursuit of this vision, I have acquired various skills, which I continually refine and expand upon to achieve my aspirations on a grand scale as swiftly as possible"- Akshaya

Let's understand the challenges in the development sector as he as a social entrepreneur shares his insights.

Stay tuned for the Instagram live on 27th June, 1pm at NGOStory page.

It was great attending the Technology Innovation Bootcamp under the Women Startup Program Cohort-4, at NSRCEL Indian Institute of Management Bangalore

Few Learnings-

âś… The concept of product-market fit is ever-evolving, and founders must be prepared for continuous adjustments. There is a need to set clear objectives and milestones while being comfortable with ambiguity.

âś… Conducting user research is essential to understand the target audience, their needs, pain points, and preferences.

âś… Identify problems that are both significant and frequent. Solve problems that people wish had better solutions, ensuring they occur frequently enough for continuous product testing and feedback

Thank you NSRCEL Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Anand Sri Ganesh, COO NSRCEL and wonderful speakers Taruna Manchanda Vikram Nayak Arjun Shenoy for making this bootcamp an awesome experience for all startups. Our Founder Neha Chawla is all set to take NGOStory onto a tech platform creating a beautiful experience for all stakeholders.

Our Story

A fervor to change the world and touch millions of lives led to the foundation of NGOStory. We all know that poverty, hunger and education has always been the grey areas in our country. This is an ongoing battle for the underprivileged and low income groups. An HR professional by degree, social educationist at heart, Neha started her journey when she saw her aunt running an NGO close to her hometown, Jamshedpur. She used to accompany her for the classes and saw the grassroot problems of the underprivileged in that village. Hailing from Jharkhand and having the zeal to prove herself academically, she pursued her Masters in Human Resources from Amity Business School, New Delhi. Justifying her degree, she worked for companies like HCL Technology and HR startups like Innorenovate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. But, simultaneously conducted weekend classes for the NGOs in the adjoining areas. It is said that, it is very difficult to stay away from your passion for a long time. After her corporate journey of 6 years, she moved to lay the foundation of NGOStory. A social platform created to help upcoming and struggling NGOs. Also, a published author of two books, Neha has also been contributing as a blogger on many women oriented platforms like, Women’s Web, Shethepeople, Mompresso, TimesofAmma, Inkspire etc. promoting gender equality and work-life balance.
