Well, Arty Lane was thought about sometime in June 2014. Motherhood led me to start the thinking process :). Once my baby turned one, I realized he needed me much lesser and that I wanted to do more than just taking care of my lil darling baby. I wanted to do something from home...something that I could do while taking care of my child and watching him grow. One fine day I stopped watching televis
ion and stopped playing candy crush and zynga poker...and started crocheting...a legacy left behind with me by my great grand mother almost 25 years ago. I never realized until then how much I liked crocheting. I thought maybe this could be a start of something that I could work on. So I started...earrings, scarves, bags...with Diwali coming up, bags with some bling could work. I found two young women looking to learn something and wanted to work. So I started with teaching them crochet. All three of us started crocheting things we found pretty. So why not do this commercially :) I thought. And there, it started :). Arty Lane became more than just a thought. We are currently a team of three crafters who craft all the crochet items you will see on this page. We also make beaded articles. Gradually, I plan to add other handmade items in Arty Lane. So, stay in touch and keep visiting Arty Lane! And of course...share the page with people you think might be interested.
