The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has unveiled plans to beautify the city under the ambitious “Purple City” initiative, seeking active participation from residents. Alongside the beautification project, a city-wide cleanliness competition has been launched to promote sanitation, encourage community involvement, and help keep Guwahati cleaner and more vibrant.
