👉 While the Centre talks about GST relief (5% & 18% rates on essentials), traders here are jacking up prices before the benefit even reaches us.

For the first time ever, the elusive Pallas’s Cat has been photographed in Arunachal Pradesh’s high-altitude rangelands! 📸

This landmark survey, led by the Forest Department, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with WWF-India, also recorded five other wild cats — snow leopard, common leopard, clouded leopard, leopard cat & marbled cat — above 4,200 metres.

💡 The survey documented record-breaking elevations for several species, showing just how extraordinary and resilient the Eastern Himalaya is. Local communities, especially the Brokpa herders, played a vital role in making this possible.

👉 If AGP truly believes the Accord is under threat, their ministers should step down. Until then, every protest is just hollow symbolism. Assam deserves honesty, not staged drama.

🚨 3,000 bighas of tribal land in Dima Hasao have been quietly handed over to a cement company.
📌 Land meant to be protected under the Sixth Schedule → now exposed to corporate mining.

⚖️ The Gauhati High Court has flagged the deal as highly questionable, warning about its scale, legality & ecological impact.

🌱 How it was done:
👉 Forest areas reclassified as “non-forest” under Assam Forest Rules, 2022.
👉 No proper consultation with villagers.
👉 People only found out when company staff began surveying their farmland in March 2024.

😡 Villagers, rights groups & opposition leaders call it a scam:

“The Council bypassed laws and environmental concerns. This is a complete betrayal.”
