Well, the answer is YES ✅ and NO 🚫
Let me explain!✋

Your audience follows your page for the value you provide. But at the same time, people connect with people🤝. Sharing a glimpse of your personal life can create a bond and a sense of relatability🫶

But let’s be clear: if you overwhelm your audience with personal updates, it can backfire.🔥

Your feed is a reflection of your business. It’s where you solve problems, provide solutions, and showcase what you offer (not valid for lifestyle creators as they thrive on their personal stories). If you clutter it with unrelated personal content, you confuse your audience and lose potential clients.

👉Instead, use stories to show your human side—your journey, your behind-the-scenes, and the real and raw you.

🤗 On and off, I get this urge to post my kid or family here but I have hardly done it in the story. Mostly it's me. Coz people relate to me, not with my family.

People follow me to become better content creators not to see my family vacation pictures. Make sense, right?

Also, you need to understand, the new followers don’t know you well. They visit your page for the value you are offering, If they come to your page and see no value but a feed full of personal photos … they will leave without following you..

In short: Keep your feed professional and value-driven while using Stories to show your personality.
