Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly declared that the Middle East "will not see peace" until Israel is "destroyed," reflecting one of the strongest forms of anti-Israel rhetoric associated with hardline elements inside Iran.
Such statements are part of the long-running hostility between Iran and Israel, which has intensified dramatically amid ongoing regional conflicts involving Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran-aligned armed groups. Iranian officials and IRGC leaders have frequently positioned Israel as a central adversary in their regional ideology and foreign policy messaging.
The rhetoric comes during an already volatile period marked by fears of broader regional escalation. International observers have repeatedly warned that inflammatory language from state or military officials can increase tensions, deepen mistrust, and complicate diplomatic efforts aimed at ceasefires or de-escalation.
Israel has consistently viewed the IRGC and Iran-backed groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas as major security threats. Israeli leaders argue that Iran's military posture, missile programs, and support for regional armed factions pose direct risks to Israeli national security and regional stability.
