Pandithpora Gram Panchayat Receives Prestigious National “Seva Se Samriddhi” Award
Handwara, June 23: A moment of immense pride and celebration for the people of Pandithpora and the entire Langate constituency, as Pandithpora Gram Panchayat has been conferred with the prestigious “Seva Se Samriddhi” Award under the Panchayat-led Service Delivery initiative in recognition of its outstanding commitment towards inclusive development, transparent governance, and citizen-centric service delivery at the grassroots level.
The award was presented during a national-level function organized by the Common Services Centres (CSC) in collaboration with the Government of India, where Panchayats from across the country were assessed on various parameters of governance, public service delivery, and community welfare.
Expressing happiness over the achievement, Former DDC Chairperson Kupwara and Provincial President of Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC), Mr. Irfan Sultan Panditpuri, termed the recognition as a proud moment for his native village and the entire district of Kupwara.
Mr. Panditpuri said that this prestigious award reflects the hard work, dedication, and collective efforts of the Panchayat representatives, government officials, CSC functionaries, and the people of Pandithpora who have worked tirelessly to ensure effective delivery of public services and welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
He congratulated the Sarpanch, Panchs, village-level entrepreneurs, and residents of Pandithpora for bringing laurels to the region at the national level. He further stated that such recognitions inspire rural communities to actively participate in governance and developmental initiatives, ultimately strengthening democratic institutions at the village level.
“Pandithpora has once again demonstrated that with dedication, transparency, and public participation, rural communities can achieve excellence and set benchmarks for others to follow. This award belongs to every resident of the village who has contributed towards its progress and development,” Mr. Panditpuri said.
He also expressed hope that the achievement would motivate other Panchayats across Kupwara district and Jammu & Kashmir to adopt innovative and citizen-friendly governance practices for the welfare of the people.
