Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, during the discussion on Supplementary Demands for Grants, raised critical national concerns — the dangerous rise in fertilizer imports from China making India vulnerable, circulation of counterfeit ₹500 & ₹200 notes aiding terror activities, and unjust cuts in the minorities’ budget. He strongly demanded immediate release of Pre-Matric & Post-Matric scholarships and sharply criticised the government for its failure to address these serious issues.
