It’s been a while since I showed up here consistently.

Life became busy, emotional, and overwhelming. Between a family emergency, my mother-in-law’s surgery, our new house opening, and being a mom to a 2-year-old… I had to take a step back.

But somewhere along the way, I also started hearing the doubts.

“Is this really worth it?”
“You’re wasting your time.”
“It’s useless.”

And sometimes… I believed those words too.

But I’m learning that not everyone has to understand your dream for it to be meaningful.

I still believe in what I’m building. I still dream of becoming independent, strong, and creating something of my own.

So this is me showing up again. 🤍

Maybe not perfectly.
Maybe slowly.

But I’m still here.

And I’m not giving up. ✨

For a long time, I thought I was just missing money.

But the truth was... I was missing the confidence that came with earning my own.

Before becoming a mom, I never thought twice before buying something I loved, helping my parents, or surprising my sister with a gift. Earning gave me freedom, purpose, and confidence.

Motherhood gave me something even more precious—my son. ❤️

But somewhere along the way, I stopped choosing myself. I stopped buying little things that made me happy because I didn't want to ask for them.

The turning point came on my son's first birthday. I wanted to buy his birthday outfit with my own money, and I couldn't.

That moment didn't make me love my family any less.

It simply reminded me that I wanted to rebuild a part of myself.

That's why I started Creative Athi.

Not because I wanted to become rich overnight, but because I wanted to prove to myself that I could create something of my own while being present for my family.

If you're a mom, a woman taking a career break, or someone dreaming of earning from home, I hope you know this:

🌱 It's never too late to start again.
🌱 Your dreams still matter.

A few years ago, I was working as a Biomedical Engineer. Then I became a full-time mom, and everything changed. ❤️
I never imagined that one day I'd be creating storybooks, coloring books, and digital products using just my phone and Canva.
This journey hasn't been perfect. There have been doubts, challenges, and many days of learning. But every small step has brought me closer to building something that's truly mine.
