The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal at Amberpet MCH Colony under the leadership of Syed Yousuf Baba & Shaik Rafiq Sahab.

HMDA Demolishes 15 Houses in Medchal’s Jawahar Nagar, Residents Protest

Medchal: In a controversial move, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) officials, with heavy police security, demolished 15 houses in Arundhati Nagar, 16th Ward of Jawahar Nagar Municipal Corporation. The demolition sparked emotional protests from residents, who pleaded with authorities to spare their homes.

Local women were seen weeping and begging officials not to destroy their shelters, stating that they had been living there for several years. Despite their protests, HMDA went ahead with the demolition, citing illegal encroachment.

Political Reactions

Malkajgiri BJP MP Eatala Rajender strongly condemned the demolitions, calling them "inhumane and unjust." He pointed out that the land was allocated to families in 1998 under a government scheme, and demolishing their homes now was an act of cruelty. He demanded the immediate cessation of such actions.

Similar Incidents in Nizampet

Meanwhile, revenue officials also conducted demolitions in Nizampet Municipal Corporation near Journalist Colony. Several houses in survey number 334, allegedly built on government land, were razed. Residents, who had been living there for over a decade, protested against the sudden action, claiming they received no prior notice.

Impact on Poor Families

The demolitions have left many families homeless, leading to widespread distress. Residents and activists are urging authorities to consider alternative solutions rather than resorting to large-scale evictions.

Telangana Assembly mein AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi ne ek jazbaati speech di, jismein unhone students ke maslon par apna gussa aur fikr izhaar ki. Unhone kaha ke har party ko students ke haq mein muttahid ho kar kaam karna chahiye, taki unke maslay hal kiye ja sakein. Owaisi ne is baat par zor diya ke agar hum students ko achhi taleem aur facilities nahi de paaye, to hum apni zimmedari se bhatak gaye hain.

Unhone assembly mein is baat ka zikr kiya ke students ki mushkilat, khaas taur par unki padhai aur rozgar ke mamle mein, sabhi parties ke liye ek ahem masla hona chahiye. Akbaruddin Owaisi ne ye bhi kaha ke agar talaba ko apni rights aur future ki security milti hai, toh ye sirf unhi ki nahi, balkay puray mulk ki taraqqi ke liye faida mand hoga.

Owaisi ki is jazbaati speech ne assembly mein garm joshi barhayi aur sabhi ko is maslay par serious discussion ki taraf ishara kiya.
