On 12.02.2026 Secunderabad Railway Police (GRP) and RPF have jointly organized surprise checking against the Drugs peddlers on platforms and trains at Secunderabad Railway Station and apprehended two male accused persons in Secunderabad Railway Station who were transporting Dry G***a from Balugaon, Odisha to Secunderabad.
G***a Transporters:-
A2: Abhishek Singh @ Golu Singh S/o Rajkumar Singh, Age: 25 yrs, Occ: Private Job, R/o Ballia Dist, Uttar Pradesh State.
A3: Abhishek Kumar Singh @ Abinash S/o Abhay Narayan Singh, Age: 23 yrs, Occ: Hotel worker at Kolkata, R/o Near Hindi Nagarik School, Patepur, Matiya Buruj, Kolkata, West Bengal State. N/o South 24 Parganas, West Bengal State.
G***a Peddler:
A-1: Digal R/o Chilka, Odisha (Absconding)
The facts of the case are that, accused persons A2) Abhishek Singh @ Golu Singh and A3) Abhishek Kumar Singh @ Abinash are relatives and were doing various jobs for their livelihood. They developed a desire to earn easy money and lead a lavish life. About two months ago, A-2 went to Bhubaneswar in search of employment, where he came into contact with A-1) Digal. A-1 disclosed that he was engaged in the illegal transportation of g***a to various States and was earning large profits. On being offered Rs.15,000/- per trip, A-2 agreed to assist A-1 in transporting g***a. Accordingly, on 10.02.2026, A-1 contacted A-2 over phone and instructed him to bring one more trusted person for transporting g***a, assuring payment of Rs.15,000/- to each person. Thereafter, A-2 contacted A-3 and explained the plan of transporting g***a for monetary gain. A-3 agreed to join him. As per A-1’s instructions, A-2 and A-3 met at Bhubaneswar Railway Station and boarded the Konark Express with general tickets bound for Secunderabad. On 11.02.2026, at Balugaon Railway Station, A-1 handed over two bags containing 18.288 Kgs of g***a to A-2 and A-3 and instructed them to transport the same to Secunderabad Railway Station and wait in the General Waiting Hall, where a person known to A-1 would collect the contraband. In pursuance of the said plan, A-2 and A-3 continued their journey and reached Secunderabad Railway Station on 12.02.2026 at about 11:30 hours. After deboarding the train, they proceeded to the General Waiting Hall and waited for the person known to A-1. At about 1200 hours, the Railway Police apprehended them and seized 18.288 Kgs of g***a. A-1 Digal is absconding.

K. Chandra Shekar RPC 35 of RPS Secunderabad and RPF Staff Sri. Bhavani Shankar Saraswat IPF/SC, Sri. MD. Gaffar, RPF/HC-227, Sri. Chandra Shekar Singh, RPF/Con-858, Sri. A.Suresh Kumar, RPF/Con-135, apprehended the accused under the supervision of Sri. Sandeep IPS, Admin Supdt. of Railway Police and Sri S.N. Jawed, DSRP SC(U).
