Mohammed Salman Ahmed Honored with Doctorate and Appointed National Vice-President of WHRPC at Prestigious Seminar
New Delhi, 28th September 2024 – Mohammed Salman Ahmed, a prominent figure in human rights advocacy and technology, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Information Technology & Legal Studies by the Honorary Doctorate Award Council at a seminar hosted by the Human Rights Commission United Nations in collaboration with the Honorary Doctorate award Council Inter-Government Organization. The event took place at The Ashok Hotel, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
In addition to receiving the doctorate, Mohammed Salman Ahmed has also been appointed as the National Vice-President of the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC). The prestigious awards and appointment certificates were presented by notable chief guests, including Bollywood actress Miss Shilpa Shetty Kundra, H.E. Mr. Jagannath Sami (High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji), Miss Neha Rathi (Indian Wrestler), Mr. Narsingh Yadav (Assistant Commissioner, Mumbai Police), and Ms. Tashi Peldon (Deputy Chief of Mission, Royal Bhutanese Embassy, New Delhi).
Furthermore, Mohammed Salman Ahmed was honored with the Bharat Gaurav Ratna Shri Samman Award for his outstanding contributions. This accolade was presented by Mrs. Kavita Bajaj (CEO of HDAC), Miss Neha Rathi and Dr. Tapan Kumar (Chairman of HDAC).
The seminar witnessed the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including Mr. Syed Shahnawaz Hussain (Former Minister of Textiles, India), Mr. Giriraj Singh (Minister of Textiles, India), Mr. Manoj Tiwari (Member of Parliament), Mr. Samrat Choudhary (Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar), and H.E. Mr. Armin Mesinovic (Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Speaking at the event, Mohammed Salman Ahmed expressed his gratitude, stating, "It is a great honor to be recognized by such distinguished organizations and personalities. I am committed to working towards the betterment of society and ensuring the protection of human rights at a global level."
