And the rise towards one of the best continues for Bangladesh. What a performance going on!!

In 51 test series played before current Sri Lanka series, Bangladesh has won just three. Two at home vs Zimbabwe (2004/05 and 2014/15) and one abroad against West Indies (2009). They had drawn just 5. Overall, they lost 44 test series since 2000/01, their debut in test. Only in two series, both ended in draw, both teams won a test each. Since 2013 there has been a turn around as losses have reduced and since 2015 they have lost only 3 of the 7 test series played. Now, they are on the verge of another positive result.
At Colombo, they are less than 75 runs away from a historic test win.
1. Sri Lanka is set to be their 4th test victim, after Zimbabwe, WI and England.
2. In 17 tests before, SL has won 15 as Ban drew 2.
3. Ban will draw its 6th test series, second one abroad.
4. While Shakib is set to be the Player of the Match with a century and 6 wickets in the test, other seniors like captain Rahim and opener Tamim have played crucial knocks. Complete team effort.
