The idea of a “One Day Chief Minister” may sound powerful — just like in the Bollywood movie Khalnayak, where Khalnayak featuring Anil Kapoor shows how one decisive leader can clean up corruption overnight.
But in reality, governance is not a movie script. Systems are complex, bound by law, institutions, and accountability. Real change takes time, consistency, and collective political will — not just one day of authority.
The recent challenge by social activist Ashang Kasar in Manipur raises an important question — are bold symbolic ideas enough, or do we need deeper structural reforms?
People are frustrated. They want action, transparency, and justice. While such challenges spark conversation and awareness, the real test lies in long-term solutions, policy changes, and responsible leadership.
One day may inspire… but real change demands sustained effort.
