Inspired by a Malayalam film directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, schools in Kerala are adopting a new U-shaped classroom seating arrangement to eliminate the concept of "backbenchers." The model, which ensures every student can sit at the front, is aimed at removing the stigma associated with sitting at the back of the classroom and ensuring every child receives the teacher's attention.
