I wasn’t planning to share this… but some stories deserve to be felt.

About a year ago, during one of the most difficult phases of my life, I had to ask someone for financial help. It wasn’t easy. It took courage, vulnerability, and swallowing my pride.

She trusted me… and helped me with a significant amount when I needed it.

And when I finally gathered the strength and means to return it…
she refused.

Instead, she said something that stayed with me—

this kind of selflessness is rare.

Not everyone—even within families—would choose your child’s future over their own money.

That moment didn’t just help me financially…

Welcome to Panimur Waterfalls and Umrangso, hidden gems of Dima Hasao district, Assam.

Panimur is around 200 km from Guwahati, Umrangso is just 25 km from Panimur, making them perfect to cover together.

Panimur Waterfalls, known as the Niagara of Assam, the water here is unbelievably blue.
Boating is available at ₹100 per person. There’s parking, washroom facilities, and an entry fee, very convenient for families.

Umrangso is calm, scenic, and perfect for picnics. In Assam, winter picnics are mandatory, and Umrangso is ideal for family gatherings. Speedboats are available, parking, washrooms, and entry fee apply here as well.
