God declares that human life is sacred because every person is created in His image. Therefore, the deliberate taking of innocent human life is not merely a crime against humanity but a direct offense against God Himself. For this reason, Scripture upholds the principle of justice, declaring:
“Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.” — Genesis 9:6

"Someone in the crowd said to Him, 'Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.' But He said to him, 'Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?'" — The Gospel of Luke 12:13–14
Jesus refused to become an earthly judge in a family inheritance dispute. His mission was not to settle temporal property matters but to save people from sin and prepare them for God's kingdom.

Immediately after this, Jesus warned about greed:
"Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses." — The Gospel of Luke 12:15
Key Lessons
1. Jesus' primary mission was spiritual, not political or legal.
2. Material possessions can easily distract people from eternal realities.
3. Family disputes over wealth often reveal covetousness in the heart.
4. God is more concerned with our character than our possessions.

Jesus never came to improve people's earthly circumstances first, but to deliver them from sin and make them disciples. When people tried to draw Jesus into political, social, or financial matters, Jesus consistently directed them toward spiritual priorities and the condition of their hearts.

"My kingdom is not of this world." — The Gospel of John 18:36

The Christ's kingdom and mission are fundamentally spiritual, transforming believers in every area of life for eternity
