After all the destruction & chaos we showed last week, it’s time to slow things down… just a little! 🐎

Before the Boy & Horse started smashing elements inside the mall, we spent weeks perfecting something much simpler, "Boy & Horse movement".

Walking, sprinting, drifting around corners, jumping over obstacles — every smooth motion you’ll see in the final game started right here in our designing & develpoment tools.

We tuned weight, speed, turns, foot placement, and responsiveness to make riding inside the mall feel fast, fun, and natural from the very first second.

After designing a lot of sketching layouts and blocking out shapes, here’s the part every environment designer lives for: seeing the world finally come alive.

From dusty construction zones to huge dockyards, every render you see here started as a messy idea on a page. Lighting, scale, atmosphere—this is where it all locks in.

These are the final environment passes for a few of our 15 levels…and this is the moment where levels stop being drawings and start feeling like real places you can run through.

Broken pipes, construction chaos, traffic jams, secret rooms, boss arenas— every world starts as a rough line on paper.

We’re super excited to show you one of the coolest parts of Mall Ryders — our Optimized Chaos Destruction System!

To make the mall feel alive (and breakable 😄), we built a custom setup using pre-fractured assets, smart triggers, and adaptive physics. This keeps crashes fast, props reactive, and gameplay super smooth — even when everything is exploding around you.

This system has been so fun to develop, and we can’t wait to show you more of how the mall reacts to your chaos.

Time for another big reveal from the Mall Ryders team — say hello to the Mall Guard!

After showing you our Boy & Horse duo, we couldn’t wait to share the next important character in this world. This Guard has been a huge part of shaping the game’s personality - the tension, the chase, the hilarious “oh no he’s coming” moments… all of it starts with him.

Designing this character was so much fun for our team.

We experimented with silhouettes, uniforms, posture styles, and expressions until he matched the exact energy we wanted — strict, alert, slightly dramatic… and absolutely perfect for chaos inside a mall.

This is one of those moments where the game world starts feeling truly alive — and we’re thrilled to bring you along as we build it.
