The Bana Highway, a stretch of National Highway 13 in Arunachal Pradesh, experienced a devastating landslide on the night of May 30, 2025 because of road cutting at upside of the road, The landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall, caused a car to plunge into a canyon, resulting in the deaths of at least seven people. The incident occurred near Bana, while the vehicle was en route to Seppa.
