In the run-up to its 13th Foundation Day celebration slated for July 29, the Arunachal Electronicand Digital Media Association (AEDMA) organized a voluntary blood donation camp on Thursday at the Conference Hall of RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar.
The camp aimed to raise public awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation anddrew participation from diverse sections of the community.
A total of 22 units of blood wascollected during the drive, which will help support patients in urgent need of blood transfusion.
Reigning Mr. Arunachal, Rakap Tao, attended the event as a special invitee and addressed thegathering. He stressed the need to dispel long-standing misconceptions regarding blooddonation and encouraged more youth to come forward for such noble causes.
Prominent bullet riders’ clubs including the Royal Gorkha Riders, The Gliding Piranhas, andthe Arunachal Bullet Club actively took part in the camp, along with members of the mediafraternity and other local supporters. Their presence added enthusiasm and solidarity to theinitiative.
AEDMA expressed its sincere gratitude to RK Mission Hospital for their logistical and medicalsupport, and to all donors and volunteers who helped make the event a success.
The blood donation camp marks socially responsible activities planned by AEDMA as part of its Foundation Day observance.
