Itanagar mein PM Narendra Modi ke sabha ke dauraan 18 saal ke student Higio Obi ne Ladakh ke hakon ke liye protest kiya. Obi ne “Stop Hunger Strike, Give Ladakh Their Rights” likha hua flag dikhate hue stage ke paas jaakar Sonam Wangchuk ke andolan ko support kiya. Security personnel ne turant unhe pakad kar custody mein le liya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over *₹5,100 crore* in Arunachal Pradesh. Major projects include the *240 MW Tato-I* and *180 MW Heo* hydroelectric projects in Shi-Yomi district, a *state-of-the-art convention centre in Tawang, and **10 other infrastructure works* covering connectivity, health, fire safety, and women’s hostels.

Addressing a huge gathering at IG Park, Itanagar, Modi hailed Arunachal’s patriotism and announced *next-generation GST reforms* with *two tax slabs (5% & 18%), making many items tax-free and reducing costs for homes, vehicles, dining, and travel. He highlighted that **central tax allocation to Arunachal has increased 16 times* compared to previous governments and praised the success of the *Vibrant Villages Programme*, which is transforming remote border villages with roads, electricity, and internet.

Modi criticised past regimes for neglecting the Northeast and reaffirmed his government’s focus on *“Nation First, Citizens First,”* aiming to make India a developed nation by 2047 with Arunachal and the Northeast as key growth drivers.

India chased down 172 to score 174/4 in 18.5 overs, powered by Abhishek Sharma’s explosive 74 off 39 balls and Shubman Gill’s 47 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 21.
Earlier, Pakistan posted 171/5, with Sahibzada Farhan hitting 58 runs while Shivam Dube took 2/33 for India.
This win gives India a strong start in the Super Four stage, while Pakistan must win their remaining games to stay in the race for the final.

Renowned Assamese singer *Zubeen Garg* tragically passed away at the age of 52 following a *scuba diving accident in Singapore. He was rescued by Singapore police and rushed to a nearby hospital but could not be revived despite intensive care. Zubeen was in Singapore to perform at the **North East Festival* on September 20.

Known as the *“Voice of Assam,”* Zubeen rose to national fame with hits like Ya Ali (Gangster), Dil Tu Hi Bataa (Krrish 3), and Jaane Kya Chahe Man (Pyaar Ke Side Effects). He sang in Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, and several other languages, earning a massive fan following across India. His untimely death has left the *music industry and fans in deep shock*, with tributes pouring in from celebrities, politicians, and admirers across the Northeast and beyond.
