===On 11.03.2024 received a complaint from Ipsa Mishra, C/O- Kamlesh Mishra of Ramgaon near Fire Brigade, PS Jaigaon, Dist- Alipurduar, Mobile 9735934347, Email [email protected] through NCRP portal to the effect that on 04.03.2024, she searched in google and got a fake link for taking franchisee. They sent approval letter, and asked for payment of ₹ 50,000/- into the given bank details and active mobile number +91-9062266463. Therefore, she made payment of ₹ 50,000/-. In the very next day, the fraudsters were started calling her for the rest of payment for completing her formalities regarding the franchisee. Then she realized that she got scammed.
After receiving the complaint through NCRP portal, Cyber Cell of Jaigaon PS took prompt action and able to hold ₹ 41,000/- as Hold/Lien on the fraudsters account. After completing all formalities including issuance of Court Order, finally the fraudulent amount i.e. ₹ 41,000/- out of ₹ 50,000/- was successfully credited to the victim’s bank account.===
