🚔 Another NDPS Act Success by Jaigaon Police Station 🚔
Acting on credible source information received on 12.06.2026 regarding the transportation of narcotic substances towards Chhoto Mechiya B***y under Jaigaon Police Station, a team led by SI Naba Kumar Ishore conducted an operation and detained one suspect.
In the presence of independent witnesses and the CI, Kalchini, a search was conducted, during which a total of 741 Pyveen Spas Plus capsules were recovered and seized from the possession of the accused person.
The entire process of search, seizure, labelling and arrest was carried out strictly in accordance with the prescribed SOP and was duly videographed. A specific case under the NDPS Act is being registered.
Alipurduar District Police remains steadfast in its commitment to curb the menace of narcotic drugs and ensure a safer society for all.

১২.০৬.২০২৬ তারিখে জয়গাঁও থানার অন্তর্গত ছোট মেচিয়া বস্তি এলাকায় মাদকদ্রব্য নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে বলে প্রাপ্ত নির্ভরযোগ্য সূত্রের ভিত্তিতে এসআই নব কুমার ঈশোর-এর নেতৃত্বে একটি পুলিশ দল অভিযান পরিচালনা করে এবং এক সন্দেহভাজন ব্যক্তিকে আটক করে।
স্বাধীন সাক্ষী এবং সিআই, কালচিনির উপস্থিতিতে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তির দখল থেকে মোট ৭৪১টি Pyveen Spas Plus ক্যাপসুল উদ্ধার ও বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়।
তল্লাশি, জব্দকরণ, লেবেলিং এবং গ্রেফতারের সম্পূর্ণ প্রক্রিয়া নির্ধারিত এসওপি অনুসরণ করে সম্পন্ন করা হয় এবং সমগ্র প্রক্রিয়াটি ভিডিওগ্রাফি করা হয়। এনডিপিএস আইনের অধীনে একটি নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করা হচ্ছে।
মাদকদ্রব্যের বিরুদ্ধে আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা পুলিশের অভিযান অব্যাহত রয়েছে। একটি নিরাপদ ও মাদকমুক্ত সমাজ গঠনে আমরা দৃঢ়প্রতিজ্ঞ।
