The prestigious ISSO National Games 2025–26 recently began in Jaipur with a grand opening ceremony at Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS). The five-day event, running till 22nd September, aims to promote the spirit of youth sports at both national and international levels.

The FICCI Rajasthan State Council, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture (DOA) Rajasthan, organised the “Rajasthan Millet & Mustard Conclave 2025” at Hotel Lalit, Jaipur. The conclave was held on the theme “Resilient Crops with Innovative Technologies.” Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Mr. Bhagirath Choudhary, addressed the Inaugural Session of the Rajasthan Millet & Mustard Conclave 2025 through video conference. On the occasion, a bajra cake cutting ceremony was also held by women farmers.

Additional Director Agriculture (Extension), Government of Rajasthan, Mr. S.S. Shekhawat delivered the special address on the occasion. The Jaipur Doctors Welfare Society is organizing the third season of the world’s largest global singing competition for doctors – ‘Voice of Doctors'. With participation from over 7,000 doctors across the globe, the Grand Finale will take place on 20th September at the Exhibition Centre, Expo City, Dubai.

The highlight of the evening will be a live concert by the famous playback singer Shaan, who will perform for two hours nonstop. Other eminent artists include Padma Shri Anuradha Paudwal and Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar.

Couture India returns to Delhi for its 10th edition! Indian gems and jewellery enthusiasts are set to witness the latest jewellery collections at the 10th edition of Couture India Show, one of the country's most exclusive jewellery exhibitions. The three-day event will be held at Taj Palace, New Delhi. Organized by Gem & Jewellery Information Centre (GJIC), this curated business boutique show brings together the finest jewellery manufacturers, designers, and retailers under one roof.

As part of the show, the Coolest Store Award will recognize outstanding jewellery showrooms across India, with winners honoured in a special ceremony on 14th September by renowned film actress Bhumi Pednekar. Jaipur Police, in collaboration with Manipal University Jaipur, recently organized a special Self-Defense and Awareness Training program for girl students under the banner “ SHASHAKT NAARI JIMMEDAARI HUMAARI”. The initiative aimed at equipping young women with self-defense techniques, spreading awareness about crimes against women, and sharing knowledge of legal provisions related to women’s safety.

The Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF), in collaboration with Jaipur-based Aryan's Sports School, recently launched ‘Project Vijayata’ at Badal Mahal. Conceived and launched under the leadership of Princess Gauravi Kumari, the project provides 15 girls with year-long training, guidance, and mentorship in sports of Gymnastics, Fencing and Judo.

At the project launch, coinciding with National Sports Day, an inspiring panel discussion was also held on the theme “Empowering Girls Through Sports”. Two eminent sports personalities who participated were: Asian Games medalist and national champion (Hammer Throw), Manju Bala and international para-athlete and co-founder of Wheeling Happiness Foundation, Devika Malik. They shared their journey, experiences and challenges to motivate the children. The session was moderated by founder of Aryan's Sports School, Anurag Arya.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated the IHHA Annual Convention at Castle Kanota, Jaipur, where nearly 150 heritage hoteliers from across India gathered. Union Minister of Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, addressed the gathering, stating, “Tourism is the driver of our economy. Our economy is projected to double every 7–8 years, and tourism already contributes 5–6% to the GDP compared to nearly 10% globally.” He emphasized immersive, experience-led travel, promotion of alternative destinations, and the importance of heritage tourism in storytelling and placing India on the global tourism map.

Over two days, the convention hosted insightful sessions on the future of heritage tourism. Lalit K. Panwar, shared that if tourism’s contribution to GDP rises to 10%, the sector can create nearly 40 million jobs. The event concluded with the first-ever Thakur Randhir Vikram Singh Mandawa Memorial Award, alongside discussions on sustaining heritage properties and enhancing India’s cultural tourism potential.

The Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) has submitted a memorandum to Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, seeking GST exemption for foreign tourists. This was stated by IHHA Secretary General Captain Gaj Singh Alsisar at a press conference at Alsisar Haveli, ahead of the 12th IHHA Annual Convention.

He further informed that 24th Annual General Meeting and 12th Annual Convention will held this year at Castle Kanota on 6&7 September. Rajasthan’s Deputy CM and Tourism Minister, Ms. Diya Kumari, will inaugurate the exhibition by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Around 150 heritage hoteliers from across India are expected to participate. Later, the Executive Committee meeting will be attended and addressed by Union Minister Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Doorva — based in Jaipur shared how she transitioned from dentistry to writing, driven by an urge to give shape to her inner world of thoughts. She was in conversation with communication specialist Tusharika Singh.

The 'Fantastic Affair of Despair' traces the journey of an unnamed woman who battles everyday chauvinism, violence, and silence, only to discover her own voice in unexpected places — a city of frescoes, a Himalayan dharamshala, and finally, amidst the wild call of nature. On the occasion, the book was launched by the Author, Doorva Devarshi, Moderator Tusharika Singh, Jagdeep Singh and Ajay Singha.

The four-day Literary Mahakumbh, “Silver Jubilee Youth Thinkers' Conclave - 2025” recently concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer The literary event witnessed participation from nearly 250 students representing 22 prestigious institutions from across the country. Participants showcased their talent and skills in a variety of competitions.

The event saw the presence of President of Mayo Alumni Association, Jaipur Chapter and PR Professional, Jagdeep Singh as the Chief Guest.
