The final match of the BM Birla Cup (6-goal) was played recently at the Rajasthan Polo Club Grounds in Jaipur. In this thrilling match between Team Jaipur and Team Dynamix Achievers, Team Jaipur defeated Team Dynamix Achievers by 6–5, clinching the prestigious cup. The title of Most Valuable Player of the match was awarded to Dr. Shivangi Jai Singh.

The event was graced by Chief Technical Officer, NBC Bearings, Dr. Lokesh Agarwal as the Chief Guest.

Network and Alliance of Transplant Coordinators (NATCO) along with MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF ) recently organised a 18th annual conference at Jaipur. The two-day event brought together over 175 transplant coordinators from across the country to share experiences, success stories, and strengthen the mission of organ donation.

The conference inaugurated by Rajasthan’s Minister of Medical and Health, Mr. Gajendra Singh Khimsar. This information was shared by Chairperson of MFJCF, Mr. Rajiv Arora, during a press conference held at Ashok Club. On the occasion Convenor of MFJCF, Ms. Bhavna Jagwani; Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Lalita Raghuram; President of NATCO, Ms. Pallavi and a donor’s father, Mr. Kalyan Sharma were also present.

On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur performed the traditional Dussehra puja at the City Palace. The rituals included the worship of weapons at Chandra Mahal, followed by the Horse, Gaj, and Paalki pujas at Sarvatobhadra Chowk.

Jaipur-based women’s organization, Shakti Foundation, recently organized its 7th annual Sindoor Khela festival at SDM Park, Tilak Nagar. Dressed in traditional Bengali sarees, women enthusiastically participated in the ritual of Sindoor Khela. The programme began with a detailed explanation of the tradition and its significance, followed by rituals and ceremonial worship. Adding cultural depth to the occasion were an eco-friendly idol of Goddess Durga made from the sacred sands of Kolkata and specially sourced traditional sarees from Bengal.

During the festivities, women gave captivating dance performances to Bengali music, further enhancing the vibrancy of the occasion. A youth-led play on women’s empowerment emerged as the highlight of the evening and received much appreciation from the audience.Adding liveliness to the celebration were pop-up stalls by women entrepreneurs, a craft bazaar, live lac bangle workshop, painting workshop, face painting, portrait making, a photo booth and food stalls serving traditional delicacies.

Under the September Polo Season 2025, the final match of the General Amar Singh Kanota Cup (8 goals) was recently played at the Rajasthan Polo Club ground. In this match, Team Jaipur emerged as the winner. Team Jaipur beat Team Mayfair Polo with a score of 7-4 to claim the cup.

During the match, the title of Most Valuable Player was awarded to Devvrat Singh Jhalamand. On this occasion, Thakur Man Singh Kanota was present as the Chief Guest and presented the trophy to the winning team.

The Jaipur Doctors Welfare Society is organizing the third season of the world’s largest global singing competition for doctors – ‘Voice of Doctors'. With participation from over 7,000 doctors across the globe, the Grand Finale will take place on 20th September at the Exhibition Centre, Expo City, Dubai.

The highlight of the evening will be a live concert by the famous playback singer Shaan, who will perform for two hours nonstop. Other eminent artists include Padma Shri Anuradha Paudwal and Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar.
