In Vedic thought, Shani is not merely a planet but the cosmic dispenser of justice, discipline, and truth. Though feared for his stern influence, Shani ultimately guides human beings toward humility, patience, and spiritual awakening.
An equally profound aspect of Shani worship is its deep connection with the worship of Maa Kali. Maa Kali represents the fierce power of time (Kaal), destruction of ego, and liberation from illusion. Since Shani also governs karma, suffering, and the lessons of time, both deities are spiritually linked through the principles of transformation and inner purification.
