"Omar Government's Order No. 198-F of 2026 is the greatest betrayal with the Youth of Jammu Kashmir" : Arun Prabhat
BJYM, Jammu Kashmir, burnt the effigy of CM Omar Abdullah during a strong protest held at Kacchi Chawni, Jammu, against National Conference Government.
Prabhat fiercely cautioned the Omar Abdullah-led NC Government to immediately withdraw the Govt. Order No. 198 F of 2026, in its entirety and must honour the election promise of one lakh jobs and issue a time-bound recruitment calendar which should ensure that all posts lying vacant are advertised and filled through transparent, merit-based processes.
Freezing posts and surrendering vacancies will permanently erase thousands of potential government jobs, leaving educated youth with no job opportunity. J&K has a weak industrial and private sector base, making government employment the primary source of dignified work for most youth, he added.
While slamming Omar government, he said, "Rather than cutting the perks and unnecessary spending of the ruling elite and senior bureaucracy, the financial burden of austerity has been callously shifted onto the shoulders of unemployed youth which depicts the anti youth stance of the current government."
While concluding his remarks he apprise the CM Omar Abdullah to not to play with sentiments of the youth of Jammu Kashmir otherwise a mass youth agitation across Jammu Kashmir will shake the foundations of the government.
Others who were present in the Protest are State Vice Presidents , Priyanka Gupta,Dikshant Sharma, Luvdeval Sharma,State General Secretary, Ranjit Singh, State Secretaries Sonika Sharma,Sagar Singh Kotwal,Anil Bhagat, Pankaj Sharma, State IT Incharge Rohit Manhas , District Presidents ,Dheeraj Bharti , Akshat Khajuria and Vatsal Bhan .
