Joint Action Employees Forum Suspends Strike Following Assurances from Divisional Commissioner Jammu

JAMMU, November 03: In a significant development, the Joint Action Employees Forum has decided to suspend their ongoing strike after a productive meeting with the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar.

During the meeting, a range of important issues were discussed, and the forum presented their demands.

The Divisional Commissioner Jammu, in response, patiently listened to all the demands and provided assurance to the forum members. He assured them that all their genuine demands including issues related to GP fund cases, Graduity and SRO 43 cases, would be consideration for resolution.

In light of these assurances, the office bearers of the Joint Action Employees Forum have taken the decision to suspend their strike, marking a potential breakthrough in addressing the issues raised by the forum.

Chairman, Jammu Kashmir teachers Forum, Ganesh Khajuria, President medical employees Federation, Sushil Sudan, President state forest employees Union, Suresh Sharma, President clerical Union, Anish Sharma, President power development employees Union, Gurmeet Singh, Provincial president Employees Union, S Gurmeet Singh and other members were present in the meeting.

“Senior citizen services supports club Chowadi” has celebrated “ Elder’s day in collaboration with Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu and has organized Kavi Goshthi/ Moshera to promote Dogri

Jammu:- “Senior citizen services supports club Chowadi” has celebrated “ Elder’s day in collaboration with Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu and has organized Kavi Goshthi/ Moshera to promote Dogri in the premises of the club at Chowadi jammu.. At the onset the chairman of the club Dr Kasturi Lal former principal of GMC Jammu welcomed the participants and audience and expressed his views for the promotion of Dogri language. He shared that a deputation comprises of Sh. Ashok Gupta President of the club former Drug controller J&K, Maj.Gen. S.K.Sharma (Retd.)Gen.Secretary of Senior citizen services supports club , Sh.Kalaish Langar Patron of Senior citizen services supports club , Sh. Raman Gandotra Social Activist led by me submitted the memorandum to LG of J&K(UT) to make dogri a compulsory subject in schools and LG assured that Dogri being the official language of the UT , will be introduced as a compulsory subject in classes from 1st to 5th as early as possible. Sh. Ashok Gupta President of the club former Drug controller J&K dwelled the objectives and initiatives of the club for the promotion of dogri language as it is our mother tongue and spoke about the Gandhi jayanti, Lal Bhadur shatri ji birth day which is being celebrated every year on 2nd.October. .He highlighted the teachings and stressed to follow the path which is taught by them.
Sh.Yashpal yash Gen. Secretary of Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu conducted the proceedings of the programme and highlighted the achievements of Nami dogri sanstha for the promotion of dogri. The members of the Nami dogri sanstha participated in the kavi goshti/Mushera and make the programme a successful event.
