An under-construction bridge in the Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh collapsed on Friday, killing six workers, while many are feared trapped under the debris. The bridge, built over the Betwa River, caved in at around 2 am. Some workers were reportedly standing beneath a hydra crane amid heavy rains when the bridge collapsed. Segments of the bridge started to crack first, followed by the pillars being uprooted. The youngest victim of the incident is reportedly a 19-year-old boy, Kuldeep Nishad.

Several youths driving Thar and Scorpio SUVs allegedly performed dangerous stunts on the Ganga Expressway in Meerut, blocking traffic and damaging property while filming a social media reel.
