कांग्रेस की वरिष्ठ नेता एवं Sonia Gandhi पर अभद्र टिप्पणी किए जाने के आरोप में बहु से विधायक Vikram Randhawa के खिलाफ गंग्याल थाने में औपचारिक शिकायत दर्ज करवाई गई है। यह शिकायत प्रदेश कांग्रेस के महासचिव Satish Sharma, जिला जम्मू के महासचिव Sumanpreet Singh, ब्लॉक 13 के अध्यक्ष Sanjeev Katal तथा ब्लॉक 12 के अध्यक्ष Rajinder Singh की ओर से संयुक्त रूप से दर्ज कराई गई है।

शिकायत में आरोप लगाया गया है कि विधायक द्वारा की गई टिप्पणी न केवल व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर अपमानजनक है, बल्कि इससे महिलाओं के सम्मान को भी ठेस पहुंची है। कांग्रेस नेताओं ने इसे गंभीर मुद्दा बताते हुए प्रशासन से मांग की है कि मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच की जाए और दोषी के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाए।

प्रदेश कांग्रेस के नेताओं का कहना है कि इस प्रकार की भाषा और व्यवहार लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों के खिलाफ है और समाज में गलत संदेश देता है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि पार्टी महिलाओं के सम्मान और गरिमा के मुद्दे पर किसी भी प्रकार की अनदेखी नहीं करेगी और आगे भी ऐसे मामलों में आवाज उठाती रहेगी।
