I was in Munnar for a couple of days, and I ended up staying at Windermere Estate for two nights.

Waking up to this sunrise view was easily one of the highlights of the trip. The property has a very calm, heritage feel, surrounded by tea gardens all around, which makes the whole experience feel slow and refreshing.

It turned out to be a really memorable stay, everything from the space to the food and the hospitality just felt right. Simple, peaceful, and exactly what you want when you’re in a place like Munnar.

If you’re planning a trip here, this is definitely one of those stays worth considering.

What if I told you… this isn’t the Moon 🌙

After hours of driving through the harsh roads of Ladakh, breathing thin air and chasing nothing but silence… I reached a place that didn’t feel real anymore.

Lamayuru, the Moonland of India.

No greenery, no chaos, just raw, rugged mountains shaped like craters, as if time itself paused here.

For a moment, I forgot I was on Earth.

Places like this don’t just challenge you physically…
they change something inside you.

Ladakh in April feels different.

You still have the mountains, but suddenly there are apricot blossoms everywhere, small villages, people celebrating, and a completely different vibe with the Apricot Blossom Festival.

I kept pausing without realising, drawn into moments that felt too fleeting to miss. Some I captured, most I just let sink in. It’s not something you plan, it’s something you stumble into.

Apricot Blossom Festival, Ladakh 🌸

I always thought Ladakh was only about rugged mountains and dry landscapes… until I saw this.

For a few weeks in spring, Ladakh quietly transforms into a valley full of soft pink apricot blossoms. It feels calm, slow, and completely different from the usual image people have of this place.

Walking through these orchards, with no noise around, just the breeze and blooming trees, felt like discovering a hidden side of Ladakh that most people miss.

If you’re planning a Ladakh trip, this is something you shouldn’t miss.
