Hi all; The group has grown significantly since I set it up in 2015, and I thank you all for being involved. As such, I'm amending the pinned intro post to better reflect what the group is about and expectations and rules that come with it. Feel free to invite fellow Jodhpur based actors/extras to the group. It is primarily Jodhpur based, but I will allow members in from outside of Rajasthan with links to Jodhpur Casting Club. Please don't add your friends unless they are actively involved in acting and want to be part of the group. The idea is to increase the group membership so we can network off each other and learn and improve. If you wish for any actor pages, project pages, funding pages etc to be shared, feel free to do so, or send me the link to post. I will NOT tolerate non-related SPAM and posters of such will get one warning only. And as a rule, bullying or negative comments WILL not be tolerated. Like all group pages, you are expected to share opinions and respect others opinions even when they conflict with yours. No bullying, negative or derogatory comments will be allowed, nor any of the same via private messaging. For anyone posting job opportunities (whether paid or unpaid) please be clear on the conditions of the job. If the same job is being promoted through local Casting Directors or Agencies, please advise in your post, so members with representation can check with their agent first to ensure submissions are not doubled up. This can lead to confusion,duplication of submissions and looks unprofessional for both actor and agency/casting director. Please do not tout for unpaid work if the production is paying actors sourced via agencies. Such touting, when identified, will be removed. All represented actors should check with their agency for all opportunities seen in this group (whether the opportunity is paid or unpaid) for your own professional protection. This also goes for commercial enterprises. Calls for unpaid actors to perform for a commercial enterprise will not be allowed. This is a group focused on Bollywood & Hollywood film industry, web serious and TV production, so posts should be on topic. We aren't too dogmatic, but here are some general guidelines on some different types of posts we often get here:
* Rajasthan projects/content are prioritised.
* If you're making something and need recommendations/advice, please ask!
* If you require cast or crew, include the LOCATION and whether it is PAID or UNPAID.
* If you're promoting yourself as cast or crew, once as an introduction is appropriate.
* If you're promoting production-related services/classes/stock footage/stock audio/etc. don't overdo it. Once a month is probably a good guideline.
* If you have an upcoming event such as a film festival/crowdfunding/etc. an initial notice and a reminder just prior is fine.
* If you're posting articles/blogs/reviews, please ensure they're relevant, and don't overdo it.
