Kakatpur Maa Mangala Temple opening and closing Timing:-

Lion Gate opens everyday morning at 4.30AM and closed exactly between 3.15 to 3.45 PM in the day time.
Similarly Lion Gate reopens after 5PM and closes after 10.15PM.

When there was a situation to identify from which particular place The Adi Shakti Mangala’s idol to recover from the holy river prachi, At the same time one miracle happened.The boat man saw a black crow dived into the exact spot where maa mangala was recovered and did not come out.

So we say crow as kaka and did not come out people say as ataka/atakiba in odia, so combined called as KAKATA.
