Back in 2015, these boys won the C Division Independence Cup for Kumudini Homes and also represented Darjeeling district in the Subroto Cup.
It has been 11 years, and it makes me proud to see how far they have come. Many of them are doing great in football today.

Prabesh Roy (Barood): A famous name who has played for Kalimpong Police, Georgian FC, and many other clubs.

Ajay Singhdan: Played for Kalimpong Police.

Lendup: Played for KUMUD FC TV, Kalimpong Police, and now plays for Himalshree FC.

Nurzong: Plays for Georgian FC.

Chuzong: Plays for Gitdabling FC.

Back then, we were joined by Tenzing Khedup Bhutia a talented young footballer with impressive dribbling skills.

So many other boys from this team went on to play for big local clubs, too. Seeing this picture really takes me back.
