Dear Friends,

As we celebrate our first year, I am filled with immense gratitude and pride. From starting a company to running one, this journey has been nothing short of incredible. We've built and launched brands, sipped tea (and sometimes coffee), crafted and implemented strategies, studied markets, and built networks.

Along the way, we've connected with a diverse and talented set of individuals: marketers, brand builders, advertising enthusiasts, creative heads, cinematographers, editors, designers, directors, copywriters, artists, influencers, actors, scriptwriters, business consultants, social media experts, and many more. Each one of you has contributed to making this year beyond awesome.

We've pivoted a few times, made our share of mistakes, and learned countless lessons. We continue to learn and grow every day. We are building Imai towards greatness.

The poem IF by Rudyard Kipling is among the favorites of our team and as we were talking about the philosophies 🧘‍♂️ behind the poem a funny question emerged among the team. If our copywriter was Kipling himself how would he be writing about us. The social media guys (US) were wandering in search of content (like the zombies in movies,🧟 no offense!😂) and rushed in and the rest is history😂😂...
Like we always say we aren't about just making visually stunning logos and images, we are brand builders. We devise strategies, plan how to get there and develop marketing ideas and creative direction. Yes, that is what we are best at! Our team is full of creative minds with a flair for building things that last, there are deep thinkers, visionaries, etc.. All combined we are Imai, a branding and customer experience consultancy agency.

Arque is one of its kind social media design studio in India. they provide subscription based social media content creation services.
Our collaboration with the agency was really amazing. Arque's positioning and messaging need to be centered around the idea that the services are provided in a unique way that helps the businesses and people alike and at different price points.
The brand focuses on being highly transparent and delivering results that are in line with the brands they are associating with.
The brand is positioned to be a turning point in the brands or persons marketing life. or more like a game changer in the content front. That was the idea that we translated into the brand logo and other visuals and graphics.

Arque is one of its kind design studios in India. The brand offers subscription based social media content creation and production services. The brand is a new age service business that aims to cater the content creators and businesses alike in this ever evolving landscape of social media.
They approached Imai with the sole idea of bringing a modern aesthetic and a compelling story into their brand verse. We had a great time working with the team there, since it was a design agency - design agency collaboration the discussions were very awesome, funny and sometimes heated. The experience they provided are also great. We learned a lot about content creation for social media as well as about how people perceive social media.

Along with the brand Identity Imai was involved in the marketing efforts of the project. The Resonance Project was initiated by as an effort to bring the artists to the frontline and showcase their talent. We collaborated with them to realize the vision. Imai designed the marketing and pitching collaterals for the projects including the posters, social media reels, and youtube thumbnails.

Brand Logo design for the Resonance Project by .
The Resonance project is among the first projects that was committed by Imai. This is a talent showcase project conceived by The Sound People. Imai. Along with the direction of the project went along great. Together we were able to move past our boundaries to make this project a good one. The project accumulated a great viewership on multiple social media and video-on-demand channels.

While designing the logo we wanted to show that the project is music-related and has a clean look to it as well. After a series of discussions, Imai was able to daily down the creative brief into a combined mark with a word and a simple symbol accompanying that.

Tulips was a clothing store that needed a new face and We were really excited to collaborate with them to achieve just.
Also, Imai helped Tulips with a more clear digital transformation that focused on social media and community building.

Tulips is a Clothing and Fabrics store located in Kerala, India. The store with a history of more than 15 years in the clothing business decided to rebrand itself into a modern premium outlook with a strategy that could help them build an online presence and drive more customers in.
During the process, we decided to develop a more modern premium aesthetic, by not changing the brand's assets to a huge extent. Everything about the logo was kept the same but by changing the proportions.
Along with the main logo which is more of a horizontal typographic lockup, we added two logo variations as well. A badge lock-up that can be used in the packaging, shipping covers, and even in some other designs. A second tiny symbol logo can be used for patterns, as a filler element, or at places where the other two cannot be used.

Generating ideas for a business can be an exciting and creative process. The process starts by identifying a problem that you can solve using your skillsets. Then you can take that solution or idea and then convert it into a business. Always see for market needs or opportunities.
Also while being creative in this process is a great plus, always keep in mind to look for some data to make sure that the ideas are feasible enough to generate revenue and it is something that people will buy.
The best business ideas often stem from a combination of factors, including your passion, market demand, and innovation. Don't be afraid to think outside the box and iterate on your ideas until you find a concept that resonates with you and has potential in the market.

Today we are starting a new series to introduce you to the idea of branding and why it is so important for the success of your business.
Branding is just a logo.
While a logo is still part of branding, it isn't the whole picture. ranging covers a whole range of things like messaging, tonality, brand personality, etc.. along with visual identities including the brand logo.
A logo on the other hand is only a representation of the brand, or it is just a mark that helps to identify the brand.
