جب اس سے وجہ پوچھی گئی تو کہنے لگی
بُرا دن اس لیے کہ جس دن میں نے مسجد اقصٰی جلائی تھی تو میں ساری رات سو نہ سکی کہ کہیں صبح عالم اسلام ہم پر حملہ نہ کردے کیونکہ اگر ایسا ہوگیا تو پھر اسرائیل کا وجود مٹ جائے گا

خوشگوار اس لیے کہ ساری رات گزر گئی اگلے دن کا سورج نکلا اور میں نے مسجد اقصٰی کے جلانے پر مسلمانوں کا رد عمل دیکھا کہ مسلم حکمرانوں میں اتنی ہمت نہیں تھی کہ وہ سب اسرائیل پر حملہ کرتے. بلکہ وہ لوگ تو خود اپنی عوام کو جنگ سے ڈرانے اور روکنے میں خود ہی پیش پیش تھے. یہ سب دیکھ کر میں مطمئین ہو گئی کہ اب اسرائیل حدود عرب میں محفوظ ہے اور ہمیں امت مسلمہ سے کوئی خطرہ نہیں...😥

اسرائیل مخالف بیانات پر امریکی کرنل اہم عہدے سے ہٹا دیے گئے

امریکی محکمہ دفاع نے کرنل نیتھن میک کارمک کو جوائنٹ چیفس آف اسٹاف میں ان کے اہم عہدے سے ہٹا دیا ہے، جس کے بعد سوشل میڈیا پر ان کی ایسی پوسٹس منظر عام پر آئیں جن میں انہوں نے اسرائیل کو “موت کا کلٹ” (Death Cult) قرار دیا اور امریکا پر اسرائیل کا “پراکسی” بننے کا الزام عائد کیا۔

میک کارمک، جو جوائنٹ اسٹاف کے جے-5 ڈائریکٹوریٹ میں لیوانت اور مصر سے متعلق امور کے برانچ چیف کے طور پر خدمات انجام دے رہے تھے، کو 17 جون کو ان کے عہدے سے ہٹا کر ان کی اصل سروس میں واپس بھیج دیا گیا ہے۔

یہ اقدام ایک رسمی انکوائری کے آغاز کے طور پر کیا گیا۔ پینٹاگون کے ترجمان نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ معاملے کی مکمل تحقیقات کے لیے ایک افسر مقرر کر دیا گیا ہے تاکہ یہ جانچا جا سکے کہ آیا ان کی سوشل میڈیا سرگرمیوں نے محکمانہ ضابطہ اخلاق کی خلاف ورزی کی ہے یا نہیں۔

میک کارمک کے اب شناخت شدہ گمنام سوشل میڈیا اکاؤنٹ سے متعدد بار مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں امریکی پالیسی پر شدید تنقید کی گئی، خاص طور پر یہ دعویٰ کیا گیا کہ امریکی خارجہ پالیسی غیر متناسب طور پر اسرائیلی مفادات کے تابع ہے، جب کہ اسرائیلی قیادت کو انہوں نے “یہودی بالادستی کا حامل” قرار دیا۔

امریکی محمۂِ دفاع کے ایک عہدیدار نے واضح کیا ہے کہ میک کارمک کی رائے محکمہ دفاع یا جوائنٹ سٹاف کی نمائندگی نہیں کرتیں، اور پینٹاگون بین الاقوامی پالیسی سازی میں غیر جانبداری کے اپنے عزم پر قائم ہے۔

کرنل نیتھن کے خلاف یہودی لابی نے شکایت کی تھی۔ اُن کی سوشل میڈیا پر امریکی پالیسی پر تنقید امریکی فوج کے اندر امریکی خارجہ پالیسی پر سوالات اٹھانے کی ایک جھلک ہے۔ اس سے پہلے بھی کئی جنرلز اسی پالیسی پر مستعفی بھی ہو چکے ہیں۔

میک کارمک نے تاحال کوئی عوامی بیان جاری نہیں کیا۔ اندرونی انکوائری کے نتائج کی روشنی میں فیصلہ کیا جائے گا کہ آیا ان کے خلاف مزید تادیبی کارروائی کی جائے گی یا نہیں۔
