Grandparents’ Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Unique Model Higher Secondary School, Chadwal
Unique Model Higher Secondary School, Chadwal, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth, providing a meaningful platform to honour the invaluable role of grandparents in shaping the lives, character and values of children.
The programme was organised with the aim of strengthening the bond between grandparents and grandchildren and highlighting the importance of love, respect, family values and intergenerational relationships.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and grandparents of the students. Principal Shri Parshotam Dass welcomed the guests and expressed his happiness over the enthusiastic participation of grandparents in the celebration. Vice Principal Mrs. Mamta Chib also extended her warm greetings and appreciated the efforts of the students and staff in making the programme successful.
Former Sarpanch Shri Seemant Sharma graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence added significance to the celebration and encouraged the students to understand the importance of respecting elders and preserving family traditions.
The school organised various entertaining and engaging activities during the programme. Students and their grandparents participated enthusiastically, creating an atmosphere filled with happiness, laughter and affection.
The activities provided an opportunity for grandparents to interact with their grandchildren, share memorable moments and appreciate the efforts and talents of the students. The celebration beautifully reflected the special bond shared between grandparents and grandchildren.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Shri Seemant Sharma appreciated the commendable initiative taken by the school authorities to organise Grandparents’ Day.
He emphasised that grandparents are an important source of love, wisdom, experience and family values. He motivated the students to love, respect and care for their grandparents and to value their guidance, blessings and experiences.
He further appreciated the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and the entire school team for creating an environment where students are encouraged to respect elders and understand the importance of family relationships.
