Less than 1 km from Kedarnath Temple, I discovered Retas Kund. We shouted near the water, and bubbles started rising from beneath the surface.

As I returned from Chorabari Lake, I came across a tent flooded by the rain. Seeing everything inside soaked made me wonder if my own camp had survived the storm.

🏔️ Finally Reached Chorabari Lake | PANCH KEDAR YATRA

After 4–5 hours of trekking, I finally reached Chorabari Lake. It wasn't what I had imagined, but the journey to get there made every step worth it.
Rain was moving in, my headache had become unbearable, and it was time to head back to my camp. A memory I'll carry forever.

After a tough trek, I finally reached the source of the Mandakini River. I expected it to begin beneath a glacier, but instead it emerged through rocks and the mountains themselves.
A moment I'll never forget.

🏔️ Heaven Behind Kedarnath | PANCH KEDAR YATRA | Day 2

After nearly 2.5 hours of trekking, it finally felt like Chorabari Lake was close. A stream flowing down the mountain looked like it could lead me there, but I wasn't sure.

Before following it, I climbed to a higher viewpoint, hoping to spot the lake from above. Sometimes the best way forward is to stop, look around, and trust your instinct.

We finally found a safe way across the Mandakini. Mission continues.
The higher I climbed, the stronger the headache became. But with Chorabari Lake still ahead, giving up was never an option.
