"کاغذی ترقی یا زمینی سچ؟ – بنجواہ کی سڑک کا المیہ"

افسوس کے ساتھ کہنا پڑتا ہے کہ ضلع کشتواڑ کے بنجواہ علاقے کے لوگ آج بھی ایک پختہ، محفوظ اور قابلِ استعمال سڑک کے خواب کو حقیقت بنتے دیکھنے کے منتظر ہیں۔ پی ایم جی ایس وائی سب ڈویژن کشتواڑ کی طرف سے سڑک کی مرمت اور دیکھ بھال کے لیے باقاعدہ نوٹس تو جاری کیا گیا، مگر زمینی سطح پر صورتحال آج بھی جوں کی توں ہے۔

مورخہ 5 ستمبر 2024 کو ایک ذمہ دار شہری نے پہلی بار شکایت درج کروائی، جس پر یقین دہانی کروائی گئی کہ کام جلد مکمل ہوگا۔ جب وعدے وفا نہ ہوئے تو اسی شہری نے 5 نومبر 2024 کو دوبارہ آواز بلند کی، جس پر پی ایم جی ایس وائی سب ڈویژن کشتواڑ کی طرف سے رسمی کارروائی کی گئی — مگر افسوس، اس کے بعد مکمل خاموشی چھا گئی۔

آج، ماہ اگست 2025 کا سورج بھی اس سڑک پر وہی گڑھے، وہی کچی مٹی، اور وہی پانی کے کھڑے جو بارش کے بعد تباہی کا منظر پیش کرتے ہیں، دیکھ رہا ہے۔ نہ کہیں نکاسی آب کا انتظام ہے، نہ ہی پرانے گڑھوں کو بھرنے کی زحمت کی گئی ہے۔ سڑک کاغذات میں مکمل ہو چکی ہے، لیکن بنجواہ کے لوگوں کے قدم آج بھی دھول، کیچڑ، اور خطرناک موڑوں پر پھسل رہے ہیں۔

یہ صرف ایک سڑک کا مسئلہ نہیں، بلکہ عوام کے اعتماد کا جنازہ ہے۔ ایک ایسا نظام جو فائلوں اور دفتری کارروائیوں میں الجھ کر اپنی اصل ذمہ داری بھول چکا ہے — یعنی عوامی فلاح و بہبود۔

ہماری اپیل:

ہم حکومت، ضلعی انتظامیہ، اور متعلقہ حکام سے گزارش کرتے ہیں کہ وہ خوابوں کو کاغذوں سے نکال کر زمین پر اتاریں۔ بنجواہ کے لوگ بھی اسی ملک کا حصہ ہیں، ان کا بھی حق ہے کہ وہ ایک محفوظ اور پختہ سڑک پر سفر کریں۔

A Glimmer of Hope Amidst the Hills: MLA Mehraj Malik Visit to Bunjwah , DeviGoal, A New Chapter of Change

At the very centre of the breathtakingly beautiful but abjectly ignored area of Bunjwah, district Kishtwar, a new dawn is emerging—urged along by the pilgrimage of MLA Mehraj Malik to the picturesque village of DeviGol. It was not another political trip. It was a ray of hope, a summons for change, and much-needed acknowledgment of the unheard agonies and unbroken grit of the Bunjwah people.

For decades, the residents of Bunjwah have had to live in the shadow of neglect. Governments came and went, making only promise after promise that resonated off the mountains but fell far short of being reached on the ground. With the natural beauty of the region and a pool of hardworking, talented youth, development stayed an elusive dream. Inadequate hospitals, pot-holed roads, and under-equipped schools—this has been the cruel reality for Bunjwah to have to live with.

But today, something happened.

The visit by MLA Mehraj Malik was not only a visit—but a visit with purpose. His arrival in DeviGol was a clear and loud announcement: "You have been neglected for long enough—now, your voice will be heard, and your future will be constructed with self-respect."

Amidst this powerful moment, a rare event transpired that warrants warm admiration. A colour-cricket tournament, held against all odds, was successfully accomplished owing to the efforts and leadership of Mr. Majid Mir Alig and some of his committed friends. Their endless effort turned a normal sporting event into a metaphor for community spirit, youth participation, and grass-root resilience.

We heartily felicitate Mr. Majid Mir—for not just hosting the event but for lighting a spark of potentiality in the hearts of Bunjwah's youth. Through games, he brought them happiness. Through coming together as one, he brought them power. And through his leadership, he brought them hope.

MLA Mehraj Malik's visit here was not just ceremonial. It was a stamp of approval on the region's potential. He met the nascent talent, the seething ambition, and the shared agony of a region neglected by the system. His actions and words made a promise—that Bunjwah will not be left behind anymore.

Let us seize this moment now.

Make this visit the beginning of actual change:

Hospitals equipped with qualified personnel and suitable medical machinery.

Pothole-free roads connecting Bunjwah to advancement.

Schools that cultivate ambitions, not fight for chalk and benches.

To Bunjwah youth: Do not despair. This is your moment. You are not left behind. The world is starting to notice your light—and with the appropriate leadership and concerted effort, no force can prevent your ascension.

Let's rise up together—with voices bolder than ever, demands clearer than ever, and hope greater than any hindrance.

Bunjwah can do better—and with leaders like Mehraj Malik and game-changers like Majid Mir, better is now possible.
