On April 30, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will flag off the "Vande Bharat Express" directly from Jammu Railway Station.

Direct Connectivity: No need to go to Katra anymore; the train will now run directly from Jammu Tawi to Srinagar.
Vande Bharat Express: This premium train will significantly reduce travel time to the Valley.

Boost for Pilgrims: This service will be a major support for devotees arriving for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.

Udhampur Bus Accident: 15 Dead in Tragic Crash at Ramnagar; Region in Mourning.
​Heartbreaking news coming in from Udhampur district. A passenger bus skidded off the road and rolled down a deep gorge near Kagort village in the Ramnagar area. Tragically, 15 people have lost their lives, and over 20 others are injured.
​Local residents and the administration are working together on a massive rescue operation. The injured have been rushed to the hospital, and arrangements are being made to airlift those in critical condition.

Tragic Road Accident in Udhampur: 15 Dead, Several Injured.
​In a heartbreaking incident, at least 15 people lost their lives and over 20 were injured after a passenger bus rolled down a hill near Kagort village in the Ramnagar area of Udhampur today.
​Rescue operations are underway with the help of locals and the administration. The LG and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh have assured all possible assistance, including airlifting the critically injured.

BIG UPDATE: DARBAR MOVE ANNOUNCED — GOVERNMENT TO OPERATE FROM SRINAGAR STARTING MAY 4!
​The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued official orders for the annual 'Darbar Move.' The complete schedule for shifting offices from Jammu to Srinagar for the summer season is now ready.
​ Important Dates:
​Closure in Jammu: Offices following a 5-day week will close on April 30, while those on a 6-day week will close on May 2.
​Opening in Srinagar: All offices are scheduled to resume operations in Srinagar from May 4.
​ Special Benefit for Employees: Employees undertaking the move will be granted a Special Move Allowance of ₹25,000. Additionally, the salary for the month of April will be disbursed in advance on April 29.
​ Travel Arrangements: JKRTC buses will be arranged for transport on May 1 and May 3. Staff and official records will reach Srinagar under the security and supervision of a police convoy.

Major Decision by J&K Govt: Big Relief for GST Traders!
​The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued a significant new notification (S.O. 96) under the GST Act 2017. According to this new "Special Procedure," orders involving issues with Input Tax Credit (ITC) can now be rectified (corrected).
​What is the full story?
​The government has provided an opportunity to registered individuals against whom demands or penalties were issued under Section 73, 74, 107, or 108 for wrongful availment of ITC.
​Key Points:
​ 6-Month Deadline: Traders have been given a period of 6 months to apply online via the common portal.
​ ITC Relief: If your ITC was previously blocked due to Section 16(4) but is now valid under the new rules (Sub-sections 5 or 6), you can avail of this benefit.
​ Online Process: It is mandatory to upload information in the prescribed Annexure A along with the application.
​ Prompt Action: The concerned officer must issue the rectified order, as far as possible, within 3 months of receiving the application.
​Who can apply?
​Those individuals against whom an order was issued but who had not filed an appeal against said order can benefit from this special procedure.

BREAKING NEWS: Government cracks down on LPG irregularities; over 1.16 lakh raids conducted!
​The Central Government has taken a tough stand regarding the supply of domestic cooking gas (LPG). The Ministry of Petroleum has made it clear that while there is no shortage of gas in the country, those involved in black marketing and irregularities will not be spared.
​ Major Actions Taken So Far:
Over 1.16 lakh locations raided.
53 LPG distributors suspended for rule violations.
Show-cause notices issued to 1,870 distributors.
Over 600 cylinders seized in 3,300 raids yesterday alone.
​The government maintains that 100% supply is being ensured for domestic consumers. A record 51 lakh+ cylinders were home-delivered in a single day.
