Kalka - Shimla Toy Train travelling during winter, It's UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kalka–Shimla railway is a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow-gauge railway in North India which traverses a mostly mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla. It is known for dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages. The railway was built under the direction of Herbert Septimus Harington between 1898 and 1903 to connect Shimla, the summer capital of India during the British Raj, with the rest of the Indian rail system. Manali to Shimla road trip in winter by car on of the most adventures during snowfall. Shimla (Simla) to Manali Full Circuit Plan Cancelled during Winter Season because of Road Closed due to heavy snowfall and very less hotel, for safety to survive this challenging weather conditions we drop this plan for now. After opening the Atal Tunnel Highway in Himachal Pradesh, this tunnel road was closed during the Winter season, few 4by4 (4X4) vehicles gave permission to local people and special permission ones.
