Kerala stories continued..

This was one of the biggest Tea Estate in whole of Munnar and south India. Kanan Devan Tea Estate also marketed as Ripple Tea.
Here the freshly plucked tea are brought in and seasoned in the machines, sorted, cold rolled and are finally processed for final packaging.
There were variety of tea that can be bought from the Kanan Devan showroom. It is really a new and wonderful experience to be a part of such a huge tea processing plant and the tea estate.
On our way down from Munnar we encountered some nice rain showers and finally reached Munnar bus stop before heading towards our next destination Kochi fort area or downtown Kochi/Cochin.
Before we could board the car we both were really very hungry. It was definitely non other than the authentic Keralian lunch meal that we could had to end this beautiful hill side.

Kerala Stories continued..

As we proceed more towards Munnar, on our way we had some nice refreshing palm fruit on the road side and proceeded to wards the famous rose garden. This is beautifully decorated garden by the Kerala government and we spent some good time in this garden.
One good thing about this place is that it was on the slope of the hills and the pictures that we were taking was each of its own kind and it turned out to be magical.
Entry fee to the ROSE GARDEN , MUNNAR is 50 rs per person for Indian nationals.
Then we headed towards the tea museum..

This is called fate...
My 15 hrs horrendous journey..
Flight getting re routed due to over manifestation and what not.
A simple journey turned out to be a overnight stay at major indian airports.
Airline industry has shown me new things and are still more to come.
From Hyd to Del to Bangalore to Kolkata
South to North to more down South and then to East (hopefully)

Kerala Stories continued..
After our first day in Kerala in Sree Narayanapuram , we now head towards Munnar - "Kashmir of the South India" . On our way to the beautiful and famous hill station of Kerala we made multiple stops to admire this beauty.
We took a tuktuk which costed us 1500 rs round trip from sreenarayanpuram to Munnar and back to the munnar bus stop.
The tea plantation looked beautiful in the offset of the morning sun .For our first stop we stooped at the Pothamedu view point and then the tea plantation by Tata Tea.
Munnar had a lot to offer although lots of people in properties near munnar but we took the odd one of staying a bit away in the nature surrounding by the hills.
