HEIGHT OF NEGLIGENCE ON PART OF !!! No emergency medical facility available on ! A female passenger travelling on 22896 Vande Bharat Exp C3 seat 56 on 17 Nov '24 had a sudden cardiac arrest. There was no stretcher, no wheel-chair, no life-saver drug, no trained CPR provider on train. First aid kit only had paracetamol and band-aid! Luckily, a doctor passenger came to rescue. But due to unavailability of stretcher, passengers had to carry the patient on arms to the ER at Baleshwar Stn. The passenger is in critical condition. Why isn't there any emergency medical assistance available on one of the most advanced train in India?
A basic firstaid, streacher is unavailable on the train and even on station! Really pathetic!! Before adding more trains, make the existing ones safer to travel. Adding pictures of the Passenger Doctor who attended the Patient along with the train TT and the written complaint. Railways need to take responsibility and accountability of this negligence.
