When rules are framed based on religious considerations, justice is called into question. If the Muslim community asserts its religious rights regarding the same actions, it is attacked as "Mullah-ism," whereas others are labeled "patriots" when they engage in politics and incite frenzy in the name of religion. This double standard—branding the same act as "Mullah-ism" when committed by Muslims but as "patriotism" when done by others—represents the greatest hypocrisy of our time. If laws and policies are not applied equally to everyone, it is not justice, but rather blatant bias and discrimination.
নিয়ম যখন ধর্ম দেখে তৈরি হয়, তখন ন্যায়বিচার প্রশ্নের মুখে পড়ে। একই কাজের জন্য মুসলিম সমাজ নিজের ধর্মীয় অধিকার নিয়ে কথা বললে তাকে ‘মোল্লাতন্ত্র’ বলে আক্রমণ করা হয়, আর অন্যরা ধর্মের নামে রাজনীতি ও উন্মাদনা ছড়ালে তাদের ‘দেশপ্রেমিক’ তকমা দেওয়া হয়। একই কাজের জন্য মুসলিম হলে ‘মোল্লাতন্ত্র’, আর অন্য কেউ করলে ‘দেশপ্রেম’এই দ্বৈত মানদণ্ডই আজকের সবচেয়ে বড় ভণ্ডামি। আইন ও নীতি যদি সবার জন্য সমান না হয়, তাহলে সেটা ন্যায়বিচার নয়, বরং স্পষ্ট পক্ষপাত ও বৈষম্য।
