Today, we celebrate not only India’s 80th Independence Day—but also the enduring values that give freedom its deepest meaning: humanity, service, empathy, and hope. 🇮🇳

This evening, The Dialogue Today is proud to stand as the Publicity Partner for the 80th Indian Independence Day Charity Ball & Humanitarian Gala Awards 2026, organised by the West Bengal Federation of United Nations Associations (WEBFUNA).

For many years, under the guidance of Mr. Sitaram Sharma, WEBFUNA has remained committed to promoting the ideals of the United Nations through humanitarian initiatives, social service, international understanding, education, and community engagement. Their work reminds us that lasting progress is built not only by governments, but also by citizens and institutions dedicated to the common good.

We are also honoured to welcome Shri Subrata Gupta, IAS (Retd.), Adviser to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, as the Chief Guest for the evening. His distinguished career in public service reflects the importance of experience, institution-building, and responsible governance in strengthening society.

At The Dialogue Today, we believe that ideas have the power to change societies.
