🛑PTC received a Purchase Order for Post-Cast Operations to manufacture Single Crystal ‘Ready-to-Fit’ Turbine Blades for GTRE Kaveri Derivative Engine (KDE-2)

🛑PTC received Letter of Technical Acceptance (LoTA) from CEMILAC for:

🔹IDDM Titanium Rear Fin Root Casting for AMCA, developed with DMRL & ADA.

🔹Oil Tank Assembly Titanium Castings for GTRE Kaveri Derivative Engine (KDE-2).

🛑PTC & BDL to form a JV for the design, development & manufacture of propulsion systems, guided bombs & small aeroengines for missiles, UAVs & loitering munitions.

🛑Strategic Materials Technology Complex has been established with an investment of ₹1,000 crore. With a production capacity of over 6,000 tonnes per annum, this plant enables India to produce aviation-grade Titanium and Superalloys from domestic and recycled sources

🇹🇷🇧🇩 Turkey signs deal to supply Bangladesh with HISAR-O & SIPER Air Defence systems.

🛑The Turkish package includes a combination of the medium-range Hisar-O+ and the long-range SIPER system.

🛑The medium-range Hisar-O+ and long-range SIPER systems from Roketsan are central to Türkiye’s layered “Steel Dome” air defense network, designed in collaboration with ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE. Both systems serve distinct but integrated roles within the country’s modernized air defense architecture.

🛑Hisar-O+ Medium-Range Air Defense System --

Hisar-O+ is the upgraded, medium-range member of Türkiye’s indigenous Hisar missile family. Developed jointly by Roketsan and ASELSAN, it provides a tactical shield against multiple types of aerial threats, including aircraft, UAVs, helicopters, and cruise missiles [4][5].

🔹Range and Altitude: Effective engagement range exceeds 25 km, with intercept altitudes around 15 km.

🔹Guidance: Equipped with dual-mode active radar homing and imaging infrared (IIR) seekers for high hit probability in all weather conditions.

🔹Radar and Launch System: Uses a 3D phased array radar for target acquisition and vertical launch capability enabling 360° engagement without repositioning.

🔹Mobility: Mounted on 8×8 tactical trucks for rapid deployment across diverse terrains.

🔹Operational Capability: Successfully tested against cruise missiles, fast jets, and UAVs, confirming multi-target engagement and autonomous operation in battery configuration.

🔹Status: Entered serial production under a $1.5 billion program finalized in 2023 and is being delivered both domestically and for export clients like Bangladesh.

🛑SIPER Long-Range Air and Missile Defense System --

SIPER represents Türkiye’s strategic, long-range component aimed at countering high-altitude and long-range threats, including 5th-generation fighters, cruise missiles, and ballistic projectile. It is intended as a domestic alternative to systems like the Patriot and S-400.

🔹Range and Altitude: SIPER Block-1 has a 100+ km range; Block-2 extends this to around 150 km; Block-3 (in development) targets 200+ km with ballistic missile defense capability.

🔹Engagement Envelope: Capable of intercepting up to 10 targets simultaneously, guiding 20 missiles in flight, and tracking 100 targets in real time.

🔹Radar and Control: Uses electronically scanned array radars with 360° coverage and resistance to electronic warfare, ensuring accurate target discrimination and resilience against jamming.

🔹Guidance and Warhead: Inertial navigation system (INS) and GPS-aided guidance with datalink and active radar seeker; warhead is high-explosive fragmentation type.

🔹Mobility: Fully mobile on heavy-duty trucks to enable rapid repositioning; supports vertical and inclined launches.

🛑Variants:

🔹Block-1: 100+ km range, 5.4 m length, 370 mm diameter.

🔹Block-2: 150 km range, 6.3 m length, 420 mm diameter.

🔹Block-3: In early development for ballistic missile interception.

🔹Integration: Seamlessly integrates with Hisar systems to form a complete national layered defense system.

🛑Deployment: Entered Turkish service in 2024 following successful live-fire and acceptance tests confirming operational readiness.

Together, Hisar-O+ and SIPER provide Türkiye with a domestically produced, networked air and missile defense capability spanning short, medium, and long ranges, rivaling advanced international systems such as the Patriot, Aster, and S-400 families.

🇮🇳 HAL has operationalised the third LCA Mk1A production line in two years, fully equipping it with more than 30 structure assembly jigs for all major modules of the aircraft, including Centre Fuselage, Front Fuselage, Rear Fuselage, Wings & Air Intake. The line operates fully & can produce eight aircraft per annum. With the inauguration of the line, HAL will achieve a total production capacity of 24 aircraft per year.
HAL has established the second HTT-40 production line at Nashik. The assembly complex houses structure assembly shops for manufacturing Fuselages, Wings & Control Surfaces.

🇮🇳🇬🇧 F-35s Dogfight Russian-Built SU-30MKI Fighters in New Arabian Sea Exercises; Intersting ‼️‼️

🛑The Indian Air Force deployed eight Su-30MKI fighters, four Jaguar attack jets, and an A-50 AEW&C system, which engaged six F-35B fighters that operated from the carrier.

🛑Indian sources have widely reported that the Su-30s were able to achieve highly favourable results against the F-35Bs, with their particularly large and powerful sensor suites paired with support from the A-50’s own radar potentially compensating for the advantages provided by the F-35’s stealth capabilities.
