🧠 Did You Know? Your Stress Could Be Affecting Your Eyes! 👀

High stress doesn’t just impact your mind; it can also affect your eyesight. One serious condition linked to stress is Central Serous Retinopathy (CSR).

💥 What Happens in CSR?
When you’re under high stress, your body releases more cortisol, the stress hormone. This can cause fluid to leak under the retina, the light-sensitive layer at the back of your eye, leading to blurred or dim vision, a dark or grey spot in the centre of vision, and objects appearing smaller or distorted.

🩺 Who is at Risk?
People with high-stress jobs, those with poor sleep or anxiety, and individuals using steroid medications are at risk.

💡 What Can You Do?
- Manage stress through meditation, exercise, or deep breathing.
- Ensure you get enough sleep and take regular screen breaks.
- Visit an eye specialist if you notice sudden vision changes.
