The Department of Multimedia presents ‘ÉLAN’ – ‘élan’ is a word that opens up a number of connotations – ‘élan’ stands for style, grace, poise and finesse. The mission of ‘Elan’ is not only to inform but to create a forum of free exchange of ideas; ideas that would not only shape an institution but also a society – a society of free-thinking individuals whose creative pursuits would ring in the wi
nds of change. Today, the field of commercial animation and digital art is broad and diverse and no longer solely dependent on the film industry. The various workshops and seminars will thus revolve around graphics which combine hardcore science with art. The insight on techniques will prove to be valuable in the production of contemporary culture of interior design. Our departmental fest will see experts from these fields come together in a free dialogue with the students. Students will improve not only their knowledge but also their soft skills and most importantly, gain a channel of expression and communication.
