31 year old , junior doctor , Moumita Devnath , found dead , half naked , s*xually assaulted with wounds all over face to toes on duty ,on seminar hall of R G Kar Medical Hospital, Kolkata .
The father of the victim mentions
The hospital authorities lied about the death of being a case of su***de ,
Cctv footages deleted .
The autopsy reports the death between 3 am to 6 am.
Various protests are being seen by doctors , interns and junior doctors ,
" No safety , no duty ".
CM Mamta Banerjee stated CBI enquiry to take place if the parents demanded.
The investigation is going on a civic volunteer, guard Sanjoy Roy who had access of the hospital and guarded the trauma wards on the basis of a bluetooth earphones found near the dead body and other cctv footages of the hospital.
Some junior doctors mention the man was earlier a cook but disappeared all of a sudden and joined the hospital last year as a civic volunteer.
Various work safety issues have been highlighted following the event the absence of separate male female toilets at hospital , no resting place etc.
IMA Indian medical association gives 48 hours ultimatum to serve justice or nationwide protests will be seen.
The medical profession is one of the most prestigious profession in this country and yet there's no safety protocols for the professionals comes out as a sad reality.
