"On the path where Uma departed, Shyama now arrives" — yet the Bengali heart has not fully moved past the lingering spirit of Durga Puja.
Durga Puja 2025 has concluded — and it did so with grandeur and glory. Alongside, the spirited competition “Ashley Hill presents Indian Festival ‘Sera Pujo’ 2025”, co-presented by Arc Insulation & Insulators Ltd and powered by Puzzle Effect, took place with great enthusiasm and splendour.
At the outset, Indian Festival and Durga Online extended their warm Bijoya greetings and heartfelt wishes to all their viewers and readers.
Just as Kolkata’s Durga Puja is celebrated as the best in the world, it has also inspired numerous Sharod Samman (autumnal honours) that have elevated both the artistic and organizational spirit of the pujo committees. Among these prestigious recognitions, the Indian Festival “Sera Pujo” title stands as one of the most reputed and widely discussed awards across clubs and committees.
This year marks the 21st anniversary of this renowned Sera Pujo title — a legacy that began in 2004–2005 and continues unbroken till today. The 21-year celebration was observed with immense joy and festivity.
In conversation with the officials of Indian Festival and Durga Online, it was learned that, as every year, this year too they introduced several new features in their judging process and award categories — including Best Pujo (North), Best Pujo (South), Best Idol, and other special recognitions. The judging panel shared that, compared to previous years, selecting the winners this time was particularly challenging — since every pandal and idol seemed to surpass the other in artistry and ex*****on.
Interestingly, not only Kolkata but also Chinsurah in Hooghly district showcased outstanding artistic standards this year — and the Sera Pujo title extended its reach there as well.
From the Indian Festival and Durga Online teams, it has been revealed that the preparations for the 2026 edition have already begun — right from the day after Bijoya Dashami. Their title sponsors Ashley Hill, co-sponsors Arc Insulation & Insulators Ltd, and power sponsor Puzzle Effect have assured their continued partnership in the years to come. Their support has inspired the team with confidence and enthusiasm to take Bengal’s grandest festival — the festival of life itself — to even greater heights.
With renewed determination and spirit, Indian Festival and Durga Online have pledged — “Aschhe Bochor Abar Hobe” (We’ll do it again next year) — but on an even grander scale. They have also expressed heartfelt gratitude:
> “We bow in respect to everyone who stood shoulder to shoulder with us, offering tireless effort and support in making ‘Sera Pujo’ a grand success.”
