Come, be a part of India’s first multicultural multilingual travelling poetry festival as it kicks off in New Delhi at the UChicago Center in Delhi on 15th and 16th March, 2023!

The second leg of the festival will be held at the iconic The Bengal Club in Kolkata on 18th and 19th March, 2023.

Join us for readings, extended discussions and workshops on poetry and contemporary cultures of reading & writing with some of the most eminent poets and scholars from India and around the world.

CANTO 2023- India’s first multilingual, multicultural international travelling poetry festival is here!

It is a four-day travelling poetry festival to be held across New Delhi and Kolkata, from 15th to 19th of March 2023. This festival brings together some of the most eminent poets, translators and intellectuals globally, including Booker Prize winners, Pulitzer Prize winners and a host of Sahitya Akademi winners.

Supported by University of Chicago, HarperCollins Publishers India, University of Iowa, New York University, Sister Nivedita University, The Bengal Club, Jadavpur University, Presidency University, Miranda House College and
Prohor.in, CANTO’s inaugural edition is poised to be a landmark event in the literary landscape of South Asia.

শহরজুড়ে শুধুই ম্যাজিক! আগামী ১৭-১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি মোহরকুঞ্জে বসতে চলেছে কলকাতার অন্যতম ম্যাজিকের আসর ‘ম্যাজিক মেলা ২০২৩’। আয়োজনে ফেডারেশন অফ ইন্ডিয়ান ম্যাজিক অ্যাসোসিয়েটস বা ‘ফিমা’। মিডিয়া সহযোগী হিসাবে রয়েছি আমরাও।

শুধুমাত্র মঞ্চেই জাদু প্রদর্শন করবেন সারা ভারতের ৪০০-রও বেশি জাদুশিল্পী। এছাড়া থাকবে বিভিন্ন ম্যাজিকের স্টল। ক্লোজ-আপ, ইল্যুশন, ভেন্ট্রিলোকুইজম, স্ট্রিট ম্যাজিকের পাশাপাশি থাকছে হ্যান্ড শ্যাডোগ্রাফি, জাগলিং, স্যান্ড আর্টের প্রদর্শনীও। থাকছে আগুনের খেলা এবং পুতুলনাচ। এছাড়া ছোট-বড় সকলের জন্যই থাকবে বিশেষ ম্যাজিক ক্লাস এবং ওয়ার্কশপও। মেলা চলবে, প্রতিদিন দুপুর ১টা থেকে রাত্রি ন'টা পর্যন্ত।
